The indie flick, featuring rising star Olivia Thirlby, is based on the real life relationship of the screenplay's writers, Zoe Lister Jones and Daryl Wein, who also star in the film. Directed by Wein, the film tells the story of a New York City couple who experiment with devising their own breakup after four years of a codependent relationship and explore alternatives to monogamy.  This theme of couples exploring outside of traditional monogamy seems to be trend in indie films these days (i.e. Sundance's The Freebie).

The premiere was held at the historic Silent Movie Theater on Fairfax, where guests such as Johnny Galecki, Mamie Gummer, Phoebe Price, Joshua Leonard, and Brendan Sexton III enjoyed a party in the courtyard after the screening.-
